History Huddle - Making Island Grown Wines

Hear from farmer and winemaker Betsey Wittick as she shares the story of Bainbridge Vineyards—a legacy that began on historic farmland first cultivated by Akio Suyematsu in 1928. Founded in 1977 by Gerard and Jo Ann Bentryn, the vineyard released its first estate wine in 1982 and played a key role in establishing Puget Sound as a recognized wine region. Since taking the helm in 2013, Betsey has continued the tradition of organic farming and producing wines deeply connected to the island’s rich history and community. Join us at the February History Huddle to learn more from Betsey herself!

This program is FREE for members of the museum with a suggested $5 donation per person for non-members. Space is limited so RSVP today!
