Bainbridge Vineyards

100% Bainbridge Island GROWN for Over 40 Years

At Bainbridge Vineyards, we are passionate about creating wine from the ground up.

On eight acres of historic farmland, we tend to the rare and elegant varietals

that thrive in the Puget Sound, and produce exceptional wine

with authentic island heritage.

With a limited production of approximately 1,200 cases annually, our wine is made exclusively

from our own island-grown grapes and fruit.

This weekend at Bainbridge Vineyards, we invite you to join local non-profit EduCulture for an authentic farm to table experience in the fields where your food and wine is grown.

EduCulture is partnering with our Chef in Residence Leslee Dixon of The Food Shed, and Local Guest Chef, Ted Matsui, to help shape and deliver a menu built on what is seasonal and regional, all sourced locally, fairly, and sustainably.  The meal will be prepared and presented featuring the ripeness and abundance of the summer season locally sourced from Laughing Crow Farm, Butler Green Farms, Bainbridge Island Farms, Paulson Farms, and other local wild and cultivated landscapes.

The Four Course Menu will be as follows:

  • Oven Fired Focaccia - topped with chévre, zucchini, and caramelized onions
  • Heirloom Tomato Salad - with shaved hard cheese, basil, and garlic olive oil
  • King Salmon Fillet - on a bed of oven fired potatoes with roasted peppers, fennel relish, and wildflower butter
  • Chocolate or Lemon Cakes in Jars - with fresh cream and raspberry compote

Each course will be paired with slow wine, locally grown and produced by Bainbridge Vineyards.

This special event is a farm-raiser for EduCulture's 2015-16 Edible Education Programs.  Plates are $95 per person, a portion of which is tax deductible.  Join us in seeding and supporting EduCulture's important mission!
