Pinot Gris

0.25%  Residual  Sugar
12%  Alcohol

Currently Unavailable

Another first for the region, our Pinot Gris is fermented totally dry - but with no oak aging - and showcases the refreshing flavors of pear and melon the variety is famous for.  This soft and subtle approach has proven extremely popular, surprising even our customers who "don't like dry wine" with its clean and accessible style.

Müller-Thurgau

Our dry version of Müller-Thurgau is similar to wines grown on the slopes of the Alps, between Switzerland and Italy, where cool-climate grape varieties are fermented into crisp, dry wines reminiscent of Fumé Blanc.  Lightly oak aged, and with a champagne-like sur lees finish, this wine's bone-dry sugar level is belied by an amazing bouquet - the floral perfume that only German varietals can provide.

2004 Pinot Noir

Since 1992 - from just one precious acre of vineyard - we have produced four to eight barrels a year of the only Pinot Noir grown in the Puget Sound Appellation.  Produced in the classic style of true Burgundies, this wine rolls in the glass like liquid rubies and explodes on the palate with dense, intricate layers of black cherry, plum, and toasty French oak.

Madeleine Angevine

Madeleine Angevine hails from the Loire Valley of France and like its cousins, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, displays a lively mix of grassy and citrus flavors.  Ours is finished with just a trace of sweetness - still dry, but distinct from our bone-dry offerings.  Smooth, fragrant, and with a very bright finish, this wine makes an excellent gift when you don't know whether the recipient prefers dry wine or sweet.

2006  traditional
Müller-Thurgau

228  Cases  Produced

Like an authentic German Riesling, our traditional style Müller-Thurgau blends back 5% pure juice, infusing the wine with fresh off the vine flavor.  The nose is awash with rose-petal perfume, punctuated by notes of musk, and disciplined with clean acidity that matches perfectly with richer entrées.

Siegerrebe

Our spicy Siegerrebe grapes have found their way into a wine not unlike an off-dry Gewürztraminer.  Peppered with citrusy hints of grapefruit and tangerine, this wine would go beautifully with hot Asian cooking.

2007 Ferryboat White

2.5%  Residual  Sugar
10%  Alcohol
555  Cases  Produced

Our most popular wine, Ferryboat's low alcohol and easy-on-the-palate sweetness make it a perennial favorite with folks new to wines, or those searching for a refreshing white wine to quaff on summer afternoons.  (By the way, the ferry depicted on our label is the San Mateo, pulling out of Eagle Harbor, circa 1960's.)

Bainbridge Island has been famous for its luscious strawberries for over 50 years.  Good enough for visiting royalty, every season the limited crop draws long lines at the berry stands on early mornings in June.  We've arranged to secure a fraction of that harvest, in order to bring you the unequaled flavor of an island summer day.

Styled after the French sauternes, but fermented from an incredibly flavorful German variety, this wine is pure liquid gold that puts syrupy dessert Rieslings to shame.  In one little bottle, you'll find powerful layers of mandarin, pink grapefruit, apricot, honey and spice!  It's everything you'd expect of an ice wine - and much, much more!
