Bainbridge Island Winery is Salmon Safe

We are delighted to announce that the “Salmon Safe” program has inspected our vineyards and certified us as “Salmon Safe”. For a quarter century, we have not used grapes in our wine that are irrigated with water from rivers with threatened salmon habitat.

It's been a long crazy year of construction, packing, hauling, and unpacking, but going through just one harvest season proved how much more sense it makes to have the winery and vineyards all in one location.  Now that the hard part of getting everything up to the new place is over, it's great to finally be settling in.

It's not the same barn it used to be, but Jo Ann's tasting room is already beginning to feel like an old familiar place.  Gerard's very excited about the new gardens he's planting  - the arid hillside he has to work with has him thinking Mediterranean.

Be prepared for big changes when you drop by - this is going to be a busy year!

Gerard's famous blend of viticulture and philosophy takes a stroll through the vineyards and fields to illustrate a message about the connection between ecology, sustainability, beauty, and food.

Join him, every Sunday at 2, for a memorable investigation of the link between where we live and what we find on our dinner table!

No reservations necessary.
